St Mary's Church, Battle
St Mary the Virgin is the church built on the Battlefield of 1066. Romanesque nave, a Norman font with medieval cover and rare wall paintings. Open daily Easter to October.

1066 Battle Museum
Small but interesting display of local artifacts held in Memorial Hall opposite Abbey Green car park. Collection contains print of Bayeux Tapestry, Saxon v Norman battle scene, Facsimile Doomsday Book(Sussex), Coins, Assize records, Dinosaur remains, Iguana footprints.
